Harvard
-At his Performance Test in 1999, Harvard scored a perfect 10 for temperament, 9.0 for temperament, willingness, and ability to work, constitution and rideability.

He was Vice Champion of the 2000 Oldenburg Main Premium and is described as the epitome of the upgrader type; passing on his striking good looks, wonderful character and athletic ability.
Harvard was imported to Canada in 2004 and began his sport career in 2005 in the 3rd level with consistently high scores and placings.

In 2006 Harvard began competing at the PSG and Int. 1 level with good placings and several wins including the Ontario Dressage Championship, Advanced Level.

Harvard's bloodlines are noted for producing quality Dressage Champions. Harvard has also been producing top quality hunters.

He has sired 3 licensed sons, numerous St. PR. Mares and his daughter Hallelujah won a total of 5 classes at Devon, and was the highest scoring Oldenburg in North America.
  • Finalist at the Federal Championships at Warendorf.
  • Dressage winner, with numerous wins in conformation classes.
  • 2005 Champion Line Horse Stallion, Royal Winter Fair
  • 2006 top placing Canadian in the Prix St. Georges
  • 2006 Ontario Dressage Champion, Advanced Division.
  • 2007 Reserve Ontario Provincial Dressage Champion-Freestyle
  • CDI3* Prix St. Georges -3rd Place
  • 2007 March Magic Dressage- 1st Place FEI Intermediate Class I, 3rd Place FEI Prix St Georges Level Class, 1st Place FEI Intermediate I  Musical Freestyle TOC Class

  • Hohenstein-2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year, 1993 keuring, Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test, 1995 Trakehner Champion and third in the Federal "S" Championships. By the age of seven, he had already won his first "S" dressage event, he has a number of wins in Prix St. George and Intermediare I. Hohenstein has twelve approved sons, one of them Champion, Muenchhausen. Four of his get were at the Federal Championship of Germany 2000, and one, Habitus, sold for DM 320,000 at Verdan. His offspring continue to be much sought after and achieve record prices at auction. In 1999 Hohenstein was elected an Elite Stallion. Hohenstein is one of the most sought after stallions in Germany.
  • Caprimond-1998 Trakehner Stallion of the Year,  reserve champion of his keuring, champion of his stallion test and reserve winner of the Bundeschampionat for three year old riding horses. Caprimond was very successful at the "S" level by seven years of age. In 1996 he achieved the first of several Grand Prix wins. The Elite Caprimond is valued for siring talented, rideable offspring with beautiful heads and necks, and may be considered as a type useful for refinement.  He is ranked the number one sire of "type" for Hanoverian mares, a typical Trakehner "improver."
  • Karon- Premium Trakehner stallion who competed successfully to a high level in dressage, Winner in dressage-competitions Kl.S  -  Performance test for Stallions - 1st class!
Premium-stallion of the first national Trakehner horse-show for sires
  • Capri VI- States Premium mare, victories at the German National Mare Show and Champion Mare of Lower Saxony
  • Matador-Matador was approved in 1976 at Neumünster and performance tested at Adelheidsdorf in 1977. He was the Champion at the DLG in Munich in 1982. He inspired the following comments in the German Stallion Book: "Ideal model of the Trakehner breed post World War II, impressing in type, conformation, movement, rideability, and suppleness as well as overall quality. One of the most important stallions of the last 40 years, both in terms of the number of his registered descendents and in the quality he produces. His approved sons are different and, especially when out of mare families with low rideability, their riding quality can be less than desired. Otherwise his children are true to type, harmonious and correct in their conformation and often have extremely swinging, elastic movement. Occasionally they have less size and substance than would be expected. Matador enjoys an outstanding reputation as a riding horse sire."
  • Duntroon-1993 vice-champion stallion at the Weser-Ems Hall in Oldenburg, 1994 100 day test in Adelheidsdorf: He won the most reputed stallion performance test of Germany. The best of 50 contenders with a points score of 137.76. 1998, he successfully went to the start in advanced dressage competitions under Karin Rehbein. Duntroon is meanwhile celebrating successes under his half Australian owner, who as a young rider still had a German passport and won several European Championship titles.Karin Rehbein says "next to no other horse reminds her of Donnerhall, like Duntroon does. Duntroon's reputation as a sire was underscored at the 1998 Oldenburg Stallion Days, where the liver chestnut presented the vice-champion, who was sold for DM 400.000, the sum of DM 400.000 only being surpassed by the champion stallion. Kyra Kyrklund is to train this marvellous model of a riding horse.

  • Donnerhall-  the most successful dressage horse in the world and looks back on an exemplary career. He managed like no other sire of his generation to combine success in breeding and in sport alike. In 1986 Donnerhall was the German DLG Champion in Hanover. After many wins in Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special and freestyle classes at International level he became German champion in Mannheim with his constant rider Karin Rehbein in 1994, team world champion and individual bronze medal winner in The Hague. This was followed by another climax in 1997: Team gold and individual bronze at the European Dressage Championships in Verden. In 1998 he was once more included in the German world championship team and with Karin Rehbein was a member of the gold medal team in Rome, where he attained fourth place in the individual results. Donnerhall won the World Cup European League, as well as being the Oldenburg dressage stallion of the year in 1997 and 1998 respectively. At the end of 1998 he farewelled himself from competition sport. “fresh as a daisy” at seventeen years of age and was frenetically applauded at all stages of his farewell tour.

  • Donnerwetter-started his International Dressage career in Belgium using the name Descartes. He was then bought by Grönwohldhof stud where he was competed by Herbert Rehbein.
In 1990 Gronwoldhof sold Donnerwetter to Windsome Farm in Virginia, USA, where he was available for stud to a select group of mares until his death. Donnerwetter has five licensed sons and five registered State Premium Mares

  • Figaro-"Figaro was a lifetime legend in the Oldenburg breed. The last "purebred" Oldenburg was sired by the Anglo-Norman Futuro (by Furioso xx). Figaro's dam Veilchenate by Goerz was one of the last mares of the old coach horse type to be used for breeding in the early 1970s. The chestnut, born in 1972, was awarded with the "Oldenburg champion stallion" title in 1976. He sired Grand Prix competition horses for both show jumping and dressage
